By 1977, Pink Floyd’s shows were such a large production, with lighting and film-clip backdrops synced to the music, that the setlist became static.  The first set was their new album Animals, but with a little different song order because “Pigs on the Wing” was too quiet to start the show (and end the first set) with screaming crowds.  The second set was their previous album Wish You Were Here, which they had not yet played live in completion (only “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” was played in 1974, and “Have A Cigar” was added in 1975).  A track or two from Dark Side Of The Moon was played for the encore, with the only 2 exceptions being (first) May 9 in Oakland, California, where they ended the encore with the old favorite (and most often played song though their history) “Careful With That Axe, Eugene,” and (second) July 6, Montreal, Quebec, where they played the additional improvision “Blues” for a demanding, wild audience, minus Roger, who was so fed up with it all he spit on an audience member earlier in the evening, prompting him to want to ‘play behind a wall……’

After the third verse in “Pigs (Three different ones)”, Roger usually (if not always) called out the number of the current show on the “Animals Tour”.  That is, for the first show, he calls out “one”; for the 30^th show Roger calls out “thirty!”, etc.
